This document sets out some very basic terms and conditions before we go ahead with your session.
Boundaries are something that you will get used to in time!
1, I am not a healthcare worker/psychologist/counsellor/miracle worker/medically trained/going to fix you (because you’re not broken) or a guru. It is your job to find your inner wisdom and become your own wise sage and care giver. I am a lady with an alternative perspective and a map of how to get there! Ultimately you are the sailor of your own ship! IF YOU WANT A QUICK FIX THE SANCTUARY IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
2, I am a holistic blended therapist with extensive training in many disciplines, I will provide you with a unconditional safe space where we can explore your truth, what you want and when you are ready, let go of what no longer serves you. Then above all decide if you are prepared to make the changes necessary.
3, Everything we discuss is 100% confidential, unless I am concerned for your safety or that of someone else. I have a duty of care to act upon any information that may result in the danger or harm to yourself or someone else.
4, I require full declaration of all medication and recreational drugs of the past 10 years. This is very important. The frequency of your alcohol and recreational drug intake is required also.
5, I require all information about the types of therapy you have attended. Simply the type and outcome.
6, You are not tied into any contract and either party may terminate our sessions at any time.
7, If I feel you are not progressing or taking responsibility for your own self development, with love and compassion I will suggest that The Sanctuary is perhaps not the path for you. I have a list of very reputable therapists I will recommend for you.
I take my work very seriously and put 100% into all sessions, my reputation rides on your progression therefore your participation and willingness to put in the work is essential.
8, I see return clients at a minimum or every 28 days only.
